I've been in business for about six years. NBurman Design focuses on making businesses look their best online and in print by bridging the gap between freelancers and large design companies. I've been web designing for just as long and am proficient in HTML, CSS and have some expertise in PHP. Most of my clients are entrepreneurs and startup businesses.
Because I'm a designer, not a programmer! I had more and more prospects asking about content management and looked at some Open Source options, but none of them offered any kind of support. If something went wrong, I knew I would be spending a lot of time problem solving. I'm also not an IT specialist, so running a help desk wasn't part of my business plan either. SiteCM allows me to design exactly how I want the site to look and function and build it accordingly.
SiteCM has let me concentrate on designing rather than programming and updating sites. I don't mind doing clients' site updates, but I know doing it themselves is going to save my clients money. SiteCM also gives me the confidence to sell sites that need membership components that I would not have been able to build otherwise. The modular approach to SiteCM and the fact that ideaLEVER does the training and support takes a huge weight off my shoulders!
The team has been great! They put up with my endless questions, mostly ignore my attempts at humour and help out my clients very quickly. I honestly feel that I'm part of a team, rather than reseller a product from a remote company in a remote part of the world.
