Drop In Applications

When we need a fancy new element to drop onto a page, we call them Drop-In Applications. Some people call them widgets, others call them gizmos, but when we train you, we will call them Drop-Ins.

A Drop-In Applications can be added anywhere on any page and inherit default styles from your site. Your designer can also customize their styles so that they are unique to your site.

Drop-Ins give you a great deal of functionality and many are self updating based on external inputs. Drop-Ins can also be scheduled for launch and expiry allowing you to easily modify pages in advance.

Common

• Recently updated pages: Displays title, date, and a summary of the last pages you updated so that your visitors can quickly find the most recent content.
• Feedback Form: Select from any form on your site and add it to a new page.
• Site Map: The sitemap stays up to date as pages are added and expire.
• Search: Limit the search to a section of the web site, or a selection of Resources to make it easier for your visitors to find the content they need.
• Simple Product: Part of our Simple eCommerce control
• RSS Feed Reader: Embed content from your blog.
• Twitter Status: Let your visitors see what you are up to.
• Chart: Easily create line graphs, bar and pie charts.
