Powerful Page Editor

When we use jargon, we say that SiteCM has a WYSIWYG or a “What you see is what you get” page editor. What that means is that when you are updating or creating a page in SiteCM, you don’t have to mess with HTML or CSS code. It is easy. We have trained hundreds of people with little or no experience to create web pages with SiteCM.

When you make text bold, just highlight it and click the “B” button on the menu. Just like your word processor. If you want to add a link to another page, use the Link menu to select the page from your site navigation. Pictures? Sure. Decide where you want to put it, select the Picture menu to open your Image Library, then select the image you want to use.

Of course that is just the beginning. As you get more comfortable you can add slideshows, rotating headlines, google maps, forms and dozens of other dynamic controls into your pages. You never have to worry about making a mistake or “wrecking your site” with SiteCM. You can undo your edits or roll back the page to an older version with just a few clicks so have fun and experiment!

We are always learning new capabilities from our customers. One customer added a video library tool with Embedr and You Tube so that their customers could easily flip through educational videos. Another customer dropped a Facebook feed into their sidebar using a SiteCM Content Block. We love it when our customers push SiteCM and teach us new things!

Dynamic Navigation 

We are not going to tell you how or where to say what you want to say. Add pages anywhere in your SiteCM site with a few simple clicks. Select the menu you want to add a page to and a few clicks later you have a new page. Not happy with where you put it? A few clicks later the page and any sub pages can be on another menu. SiteCM supports many different types of navigation, but they all give you ultimate control over where you want to have your pages and are updated in real time.

Launch when you want

Have you ever waited days to have your website updated? It’s your site so why does someone else have the keys?

With SiteCM you can save and launch a page as soon as you are happy with your content. Need time to think about it? Save your changes without launching so you can come back to it. You can also plan ahead and schedule your updates to launch later the same day, week, or year. The reverse is also true and you can also schedule pages to come down at a predetermined time.

Collaborate 

With SiteCM there is nothing to install so anyone on your team can use SiteCM to update your site from anywhere. The only limitation is that you cannot login with the same ID from two places at the same time. Many companies using SiteCM Solo or Lite will share their access credentials among team members to share the work of updating their sites.

As your team grows, you can add Content Owners and restrict their accounts to only manage specific content or features so brand control can be maintained.
